Athlete's foot
Athlete's foot is a condition of the foot where fungal growth affects the skin. Diagnosis may be difficult as it may not be obvious to the trained eye, or may be on an unusual part of the foot. It also may not be giving rise to any discomfort, however it is a condition which should be treated as if it is left untreated the condition may then invade the nails, and this may then require more drastic treatment or in some cases be untreatable.
